Hannah Stailey Memorial Scholarship Fund

- Be a resident of the greater Harlan area
- Be a member and/or active attendee of a church (denomination not specified, subject to board discretion)
- Be actively involved in the greater Harlan area Christian Community (leadership, participation in evangelistic/outreach activities, volunteer service in church or Christian organization)
- Be in agreement with the vision and mission of the Harlan Christian Youth Center and have shared Christian values
- Be a committed and motivated student with good academic record and reputation (no specific GPA requirement)
- Be seeking to further education in a field that does not contradict God's word, dishonor Him, or contradict Christian faith/HCYC mission and values
- Complete application including personal profile and resume
- Be willing to meet with board of directors if requested
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:- Field of study must not contradict or mock God's word, dishonor Him, or contradict the mission and values of the Christian faith or HCYC
- HCYC Board may request disclosure of major, minor, and courses for review (strictly to assess alignment with funding priorities, not to criticize or pressure changes)
Funding Restrictions
- Deadline: March 15 annually
- Application Period: Beginning of EACS school year
