HAF+WRCF General Grants Portal

Overview: Humboldt Area Foundation + Wild Rivers Community Foundation's central grants portal offering multiple funding opportunities for charitable programs and projects in the region.

Geographic Scope: Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties in California; Curry County, Oregon

Eligibility:

  • Non-profit organizations

  • Public benefit organizations (churches, educational organizations/schools, hospitals, government units, tribal governments)

  • Groups working with a qualified fiscal sponsor

  • Other organizations and groups working on charitable projects

  • A limited number of funds support individuals

    Application Process

    Portal Access: HAF+WRCF Grants Portal at hafoundation.org/requesting-support/grantseekers-portal/

    Account Registration:
    1. Organizations with EIN/Tax ID:
    - Click "Create New Account"
    - Follow registration instructions
    - If you receive Duplicate EIN/Tax ID notification, contact HAF+WRCF staff

    2. Organizations without EIN/Tax ID or working with Fiscal Sponsor:
    - Enter organization information
    - Enter "22" in EIN/Tax ID field
    - Provide fiscal sponsor information in grant application if applicable

    3. Individuals (limited grants available):
    - Enter name in 'Organization Name' field
    - Enter "11-1111111" in EIN/Tax ID field

    4. International organizations:
    - Contact staff for assistance with account setup

    Application Materials:

  • Submit applications through the Grants Portal

  • Track application status through organizational profile

  • Submit grant reports through portal

  • View historical grants
