Our knowledge about important issues facing the Fox Valley Region is based on strong relationships with nonprofits and our unwavering pursuit of understanding our community needs. Individual gifts, when joined with others given through the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, ensure the impact lasts forever so that our community will always flourish. We are a tax-exempt, publicly supported nonprofit organization managing charitable funds — mostly permanent endowments — created by many families, businesses and organizations. These funds generate grants for the long-term benefit of the people of the Fox Valley region of Wisconsin. Guyon Scholarship for Veterans The Guyon Scholarship Fund For Veterans has been established by Ann Guyon in honor and memory of her husband Bill Guyon. Bill served two years in the Army Veterinary Corps, then received his degree from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. Bill later went back to school and received an advanced degree from Thunderbird University in Arizona. Armed with new knowledge, he took a position in Appleton at Miller Electric in International Sales and had the opportunity to travel to sixty-seven countries in the 15 years he worked for the company. Award Amount: One $1,000 non-renewable scholarship award for cost of attendance, payable during the first semester of college.Eligibility
