Elizabeth Guttenberg Memorial Scholarship Elizabeth “Liz” Irene Guttenberg, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2005, at the age of 18, the result of an automobile accident. Liz was a freshman at UW-Fox Valley and was enjoying all the things that come with active campus life. She was a member of the drama club and the fencing club. One of Liz’s passions in life was art. She was blessed with a unique talent, and she was planning on majoring in art with an emphasis on animation and special effects. In June 2004, Liz graduated from Appleton North High School. While in high school she loved being a member of the Appleton North Band program, where she performed in the marching bands, the pep band, and was a member of the pit orchestra for the “Wizard of Oz” production. She was also a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church, where for 4 years she played in the hand bell choir. Liz’s bubbly personality made others around her smile with her infectious joy for life. In 2005, this scholarship was established by her parents, in loving memory of their daughter, with additional contributions from her relatives, friends, faculty, and classmates at UW-Fox Valley. Award Amount One $750 non-renewable scholarship award, payable during the fall semester.Eligibility
