GreenTRIP Certification Program
Overview: GreenTRIP Certification is a third-party evaluation and support program for residential and mixed-use development projects that apply strategies to reduce vehicle trips, excessive parking, and greenhouse gas emissions while making transportation more affordable.
Geographic Scope: Nine-county San Francisco Bay Area: San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda, Contra Costa, Napa, Solano, Sonoma, and Marin Counties. Projects must be within urban growth boundaries.

Impact to Date: Since 2008 launch, GreenTRIP has obtained commitments for 280,000 years of new transit passes and space for over 9,130 new homes.

5. Ongoing Support: Transform provides data collection, transportation modeling, and communications materials
