Eligibility Requirements:

• Organizations must have current IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt determination letter prior to grant start date
• Local government agencies may apply
• If tax-exempt status is pending, explanation of application status must be provided

Funding Restrictions - Grant funds may NOT be used for:

• Indirect, overhead, or administrative costs
• Fundraising activities
• Projects that will result in profit for the applicant
• Salaries of existing staff members

• Describe how grant funds will be utilized to further JPMF's mission
• Explain the problem, need, or issue for which grant is requested

Required Attachments:

1. IRS Exemption Letter - Copy of current IRS tax-exempt determination letter (unless applicant is local government agency). If tax-exempt status is pending, provide explanation of application status. 501(c)(3) determination must be received prior to grant program beginning.

3. Other Organizations - If other organizations will participate, provide names and letters describing their roles, specific activities agreed upon, and resources they will provide (if applicable)
