Grant Request Program

Purpose: To assist employees of the Veterans Administration's Blind Rehabilitation Services with budget shortfalls.

Geographic Scope: United States

Focus Areas: Past grants have been used for:

• Improving and increasing access to computer training for blind and visually impaired veterans
• Outreach to bring other blind and visually impaired veterans into the VA's Blind Rehabilitation Services
• Community outings and refreshments for the VA's Visual Impairment Services support groups

Eligibility:

• Must be an employee of the VA's Blind Rehabilitation Services (BRS)
