Graduate Level-One (GL-1) Award

Program Overview: Award established in 1987 to recognize outstanding first-year residents for personal and professional qualities beyond the ordinary.

Purpose

• Introduce first-year residents to Cleveland Clinic Alumni Association
• Demonstrate Alumni Association commitment to future generations of Cleveland Clinic-trained physicians and scientists

Eligibility

• Clinical residents in their first year of training (PGY1) at Cleveland Clinic
• Selected from nominations based on peer recognition

Award Details

• Amount: $1,000 cash award
• Framed certificate
• Recognition in Alumni Connection Magazine
• Recognition at annual Alumni Association Spring Reception

Nomination Process

1. Identify an outstanding first-year resident (PGY1) at Cleveland Clinic
2. Complete the Alumni Award Nomination Form
