Good Neighbor Fund

The Good Neighbor Fund offers emergency assistance to Upper Arlington residents facing unexpected hardships. It helps cover essentials like living expenses, medical bills, and home safety repairs—ensuring neighbors have support when they need it most.

Geographic Scope: Upper Arlington, Ohio residents only

Funding Focus: One-time emergency financial assistance for:

• Living expenses
• Utilities
• Medical fees
• Home safety repairs
• Transportation
• Other emergency needs that threaten stability

Eligibility:

• Must be an Upper Arlington resident
• Must have an unforeseen event that threatens stability
• Applicants are referred by Advocate Partners (not self-nominated):
  • UA City Schools
  • UA Commission on Aging
  • UA Fire Department
  • UA Police Department

Grant Frequency: Awards made four times each year (quarterly)
