Golden Anchor Award (GAA)

Overview: The Golden Anchor Award recognizes five outstanding educators at Farragut High School each year, with a $1,000 grant awarded to each recipient. In some years, ties may result in additional recipients.

Geographic Scope: Farragut High School (Knoxville, Tennessee, US)

Award Amount: $1,000 per recipient

Eligibility:

  • Must be an educator at Farragut High School

  • Must dedicate a significant amount of time and effort over and above regular teaching duties

  • Must work to enhance student learning and development
  • Focus Areas: Recognition for educators in all disciplines including Fine Arts, Social Studies, Agriscience, World Languages, and other subject areas

    Note: This award is funded by donations, including support from the Kroger Community Rewards program.
