Program Description

Global NY is an initiative designed to help NYS manufacturers reach foreign markets and expand their export operations. The program provides financial assistance through grants and loans to support export-related activities.

Eligible Uses

• Create or expand direct exports
• Serve as suppliers to larger exporters
• Buy equipment and inventory to fulfill export-related contracts
• Market customization
• Participation in foreign tradeshows and missions
• Attendance at export workshops
• Product adaptation to meet foreign regulatory requirements

Funding Amounts

• Grants: Up to $25,000 to help companies start exporting or increase existing exports
• Loans: Up to $500,000 (especially for manufacturers unable to access traditional credit markets)
• Special Category: Distilled and fermented beverage industry members can access industry-free loans up to $50,000
• Non-profits: Organizations providing export assistance and trade education can apply for grants up to $50,000
