About the Foundation Built by donors, the Glencoe Area Community Foundation helps people, organizations, and businesses that want to improve our community now and in the future. The mission of the Glencoe Area Community Foundation is to create a legacy with projects that matter, supported by people who care.  Serving the Glencoe area, the Foundation is a vehicle for donors, helping them achieve their charitable goals. It also works with donors to structure planned gifts, which benefit the benefit both the community and the donor. The Foundation raises and manages donations of all amounts from individuals, families, businesses, and other foundations. The income from these gifts is awarded to projects that serve the best interests of the area. The Foundation provides an opportunity to leave a permanent legacy to enhance the quality of life in our area. Grants Grant proposals should demonstrate a benefit within the Glencoe area. We are looking for projects with a long-term benefit to our community, rather than a short-term or minimal reach benefit. We use three pillars as our guiding principles in granting dollars to our community and honoring donor intent: Causes that benefit the economic development and standard of living in the communities we serve.Causes that impact the health and wellness of our community members.Causes that address our greatest community needs and impact the underserved. Grants range between $500-$2,000.

Eligibility
