Overview

The Give Smart Montgomery Fund supports nonprofits providing programs or projects that address the categories of homelessness, mental health and/or substance abuse in regards to panhandlers in Montgomery County, Alabama.

Nonprofit organizations may submit a Give Smart Montgomery grant application for a maximum amount of $5,000. CACF will accept applications on a rolling basis

* Individuals
* Annual fundraising drives, events or marketing campaigns
* Endowments
* Partisan political advocacy
* Regular operating support or capital projects
* Religious purposes (although we do support educational and social service programs offered by faith-based organizations)
* Research
* Sponsorship of fundraising events
* Start-up costs
