Girls on the Run Sparking Limitless Potential Scholarship The Girls on the Run of Central Ohio (GOTRCO) Sparking Limitless Potential Scholarship supports alumni of the Girls on the Run Central Ohio program who are graduating from high school and planning to pursue post-secondary education. Established by the GOTRCO Board of Directors, the scholarship celebrates alumni achievements and recognizes the long-term impact of the Girls on the Run mission on participants’ confidence, leadership, and personal growth. Grounded in a commitment to equity and anti-racism, GOTRCO is actively working to remove systemic barriers that disproportionately affect girls and volunteers of Color. The scholarship aligns with the organization’s broader efforts to address racism as a public health crisis and to cultivate inclusive, anti-racist environments through physical activity and positive youth development, ensuring more equitable access to opportunities for youth across Central Ohio.Eligibility

Candidates must be pursuing post-secondary education, including two- or four-year programs, industry-based certifications and licenses, and apprenticeships either full- or part-time in the U.S.Candidates must have a minimum 2.4 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale.Candidates must be graduating high school seniors or graduates in the current school year. All eligible candidates are encouraged to apply, including those already enrolled in post-secondary education.Candidates must be alumna of the GOTRCO (formerly GOTR Franklin County) program (elementary school, middle school, or Camp GOTR), or children of past/current volunteers.Focus Areas & Funding Uses
