Dorothy E. Ann Fund (D.E.A.F.) Scholarship This scholarship fund provides support to qualified students who are deaf or hard of hearing who demonstrate strong academic achievement, financial need, and good character. Eligible applicants must plan to pursue full-time, post-secondary education at one of the following institutions: Gallaudet University, the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) at Rochester Institute of Technology, or Columbus State Community College. The fund is designed to expand access to higher education and support academic success for students who are deaf or hard of hearing as they pursue their educational and career goals.

Eligibility

Candidates must attend college full-time.Candidates must be a graduating high school senior from a high school in Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, or Union counties.Candidates must have a minimum 2.8 grade point average.Priority will be given to students attending Columbus State Community College, Gallaudet University, or National Technical Institute for the Deaf at Rochester Institute of Technology.Candidates must attend or plan to attend an educational institution in the U.S.Candidates must possess a minimum 80 dB hearing loss in both ears, according to an audiogram.
