Mission: Guilford Fund for Education is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that gives Guilford educators and students an avenue to explore, experiment, and bring fresh ideas for educational experiences by funding proposals that fall outside of an organization's budget.

Geographic Scope: Guilford, Connecticut and Guilford Public Schools

Eligible Applicants:

Guilford Public Schools educators and staff

Preschools in Guilford

Not-for-profit organizations in Guilford

Community educators (teachers, club leaders, coaches, artists, paraprofessionals, mental health professionals, religious leaders, etc.)

Focus Areas:

STEM

The arts and cultural awareness

Social and emotional supports

Educational activities, events, or projects that enhance curriculum and support student learning in new and different ways

What They Fund:

Innovative and creative educational proposals for Guilford youth

Projects that offer educational activities outside of organization budgets

Proposals that explore new and different ways of learning

What They Don't Fund: Proposals submitted for the Evolving Education Grant that require more than $1,500 should be submitted as standard GFFE grants instead.
