Gerry & Sherry Fortner Education Endowed Scholarship This scholarship was established by Gerry and Sherry Fortner, who met as grade school teachers in Carmel and Noblesville and later married. After retirement, the Fortners established this scholarship fund to support Hamilton County students planning to pursue a degree in education. Sherry passed away in 2008, but the Fortners’ passion for education lives on through this scholarship.Eligibility
