Georgia Power Grant

The Georgia Power Grant supports 501(c)(3) organizations, providing funding to empower local communities in Georgia. Grant requests of up to $25,000 are reviewed on an ongoing basis, while larger requests require board approval. The foundation prioritizes Georgia-based initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents. Notably, grants are not available for individuals, political campaigns, or organizations that discriminate based on race, gender, or other factors. This commitment reflects over 130 years of community support.

NOTE:
Grant requests are accepted by invitation only.Grant requests up to and including $25,000 are evaluated on an ongoing basis.Grant requests greater than $25,000 must be reviewed and approved by the foundation board, which meets in May, August and December.

Empowering Local Communities through Grants and Sponsorships
Georgia Power focuses on supporting causes contributing to the well-being of the communities we serve. Our Company Representatives determine which local organizations to invest in by directing funding where it has the most impact.

Eligibility

501(c)(3) organizations can apply for a Georgia Power grant.

Ineligibility

We do not provide grants to individuals, private elementary or secondary schools and religious organizations, nor do we fund political campaigns or causes.We do not support organizations whose policies or actions discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or disability.
