Funder: Pittsburgh Emergency Medicine Foundation (PEMF)

  • All grant requests presented to Board of Directors at quarterly meetings

  • How to Apply

    Application Requirements

    Format:

  • Concise proposals, simply bound for ease in preparing copies for Board Members

  • Limited to three pages for problem statement, objectives, and methods
  • Required Sections:
    1. Problem Statement - Discussion of need for proposed program/project with supporting evidence
    2. Program Objectives - Description of program/project for which funding is requested
    3. Methods - Specific, measurable objectives to be achieved and implementation plan with timetable
    4. Evaluation - Expected results/outcomes and how they will be measured. Foundation gives priority to programs using logical evaluation approaches

    Important Notes:

  • F & A indirect costs are NOT permitted

  • Three-page limit is absolute for problem statement, objectives, and methods sections
