General Grant Program

Funder: Lexington Community Foundation (LCF)

Geographic Scope: Lexington, Nebraska and surrounding area

Purpose: Financial assistance for programs and/or projects which will enhance the quality of life for all residents of the community and the surrounding area.

Funding Source: Unrestricted assets of the LCF (assets that have not been designated for a specific purpose or beneficiary and over which the LCF Board of Directors has full discretion)

• $5,000 grant to Johnson Lake Playground Project (Neighborhoods & Environment)
• $1,500 challenge grant to Dawson County Family Partners (Human Services)
• $2,056 program grant to Merrymakers Association of Omaha (Human Services)
• $20,000 to Lexington Public Schools for Destination Graduation (Youth & Education)
• $750 grant to Lexington Post-Prom Committee (Youth & Education)
• $3,000 match grant to Lexington Public Library (Government & Civics)
