Overview

GCRA Grants These grants are run by the City's Gainesville Community Reinvestment Area (GCRA), not the Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs. However, these grants are still relevant to many of our cultural organizations who organize events. GCRA Grants and SEAS grants are eligible to used together for the same event, provided that the funds are used for different costs. If your organization is interested in applying for a GCRA Grant and an Outside Agency or PAPI grant, there are some restrictions that apply. GCRA- Community Partnership Grant Program The Community Partnership Grant Program offers up to $5,000 in matching grant funds to assist local community organizations to enable special programming within the GCRA District. The program is administered in 4 cycles. Deadlines and cycle dates are as follows: February 1 to April 30 – due December 1st at 5pmMay 1 to July 31 – due March 1st at 5pmAugust 1 to October 31 – due June 1st at 5pmNovember 1 to January – due September 1 at 5pm
