Gadsden State Cherokee Community College Scholarship

Program Name: Alabama Poultry Foundation Allied Industry Scholarship

Purpose: Providing scholarships for students enrolled in the Agricultural Production Program or subsequent Poultry Science Program at Gadsden State Cherokee Community College who intend to transfer to Auburn University and major in Poultry Science.

Geographic Scope: Gadsden State Cherokee Campus, Alabama

Focus Areas: Agricultural Production and Poultry Science programs with intent to transfer to Auburn University

Eligibility: Students enrolled in Agricultural Production Program or Poultry Science Program at Gadsden State Cherokee who intend to transfer to Auburn University to major in Poultry Science

Award Details: The total amount awarded each year is dependent upon availability of funds. Additional contributions from donors are accepted.

Background: Program expanded to Gadsden State Cherokee Community College in 2016 as part of the 2+2 program. Students attend community college for 2 years taking introductory Poultry Science courses, then transfer to Auburn University to complete a poultry science degree.
