FWAC: School Arts Project Grants

The Five Wings Art Council offers the School Arts Project Grants to enhance arts education in public schools across Todd, Morrison, Wadena, Cass, and Crow Wing Counties, Minnesota. Grants up to $5,000 are available to support initiatives like artist residencies and arts education field trips, helping to enrich students' artistic experiences. These grants aim to supplement existing programs and foster creativity among young learners without requiring a matching contribution.

Five Wings Art Council
As one of the eleven Regional Arts Councils of Minnesota, the Five Wings Art Council is entrusted with the stewardship and distribution of funds acquired from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage (ACH) fund as well as funds allocated from the General Budget through the Minnesota State Legislature.
FWAC is committed to working together to accomplish this vision of this constitutional amendment. We do this through grant programs designed to support the work of community organizations to bring the arts to the citizens of their community. Five Wings Arts Council also grants funds from the McKnight Foundation to support the work of individual artists within our region.
The Five Wings Art Council administers grant programs for individual artists living in Cass, Crow Wing, Todd, Morrison, and Wadena Counties. These grant programs have been established to provide assistance for artists at various stages in their career development, and for arts organizations.
The School Arts Project Grants are available to public schools in Todd, Morrison, Wadena, Cass, and Crow Wing Counties of Minnesota to supplement and enrich (not replace) the arts education already being provided to the region's students. Grants up to $5,000 are available. No match is required.
Project examples include, but are not limited to; artist residencies, arts education field trips, and other non curriculum arts activities.
