Future Urban STEM Educator Scholarship

Overview: An NSF Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Grant opportunity offered through Davenport University's College of Urban Education. This scholarship enables students to complete their junior and senior years tuition-free if they commit to becoming STEM educators in high-need urban school districts.

Geographic Scope: Focus on high-need school districts (Michigan emphasis)

  • Eligibility Requirements:

  • Full-time enrollment required

  • Pursuing Bachelor's in Biological Laboratory Science OR Computer Science, OR STEM professional completing graduate certificate in urban education

  • Maintain good academic standing: 3.0+ GPA (undergraduates)

  • Complete degree program successfully and on time

  • Teaching obligation: Serve as teacher in high-need school district for two years for each year of scholarship received

  • Selected based on academic performance

    Application Checklist:

    5. Documentation highlighting:
