History

Founded in 1967 by a group of Idaho CEOs and executives. Originally named "Funds Serving the Y" to help build a YMCA in downtown Boise. Expanded in 1972 to support multiple nonprofits with capital projects. Recent beneficiaries include The Peregrine Fund (2022, $500,000 raised), TRICA (2018, $275,000 raised), and Treasure Valley YMCA (2024).
