Fund for Change Grants

The Fund for Change Grants support organizations advocating for social change, focusing on underserved communities. With an average grant size of $10,000-25,000, it funds initiatives in housing, behavioral health, criminal justice reform, and environmental justice. Eligible organizations can apply annually, but multi-year commitments are not available. The fund does not support capital campaigns, indirect costs, endowments, or individual scholarships, ensuring that funds are directed towards direct program expenses.

Note: If you have not previously received funds from the foundation, please send a one- to two-page Letter of Intent (LOI) prior to submitting a full proposal.
Most of our funding is in Baltimore, although Maryland and national groups are considered.
Grant Size
The average grant size is $10,000-25,000 although there are exceptions on both ends.

Eligibility

Organizations are eligible to apply once per year and not in back-to-back grant cycles.
