Geographic Scope: Arizona

Award Amount:

  • $5,000 per year for students attending a university or tribal college

  • Eligibility:

  • Enrolled member of one of the qualifying Tribes or Nations:

  • - Hualapai Tribe
    - San Carlos Apache Tribe
    - White Mountain Apache Tribe
    - Tohono O'odham Nation

  • Scholarship funding for educational expenses

  • Specialized support services from Education Forward Arizona Success Advisers

  • Support to help students navigate their educational path, persist through higher education, and graduate with a degree or credential
  • Background: Managed by Education Forward Arizona in partnership with the Freeport-McMoRan Foundation. The foundation is committed to helping students from tribal communities pursue higher education.
