Franz Bakery Foundation Grant

The Franz Bakery Foundation Grant supports local charitable organizations focused on family support, youth development, and hunger reduction in areas served by Franz Bakery. With an average grant amount of $3,000, the Foundation aims to foster respect, equity, and inclusion within communities. Eligible applicants must be 501c3 tax-exempt nonprofits located in specific states and align with the Foundation's mission. Organizations can reapply annually, although applications do not roll over to the next year.

The most effective way for the Foundation to support our communities is by giving grants to registered charitable organizations (501c3 tax-exempt nonprofits), that share our mission.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a grant your organization must:A 501c3 tax exempt nonprofit – documentation is required for proof of tax exempt status
Be located in an area that Franz services: Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming.
Support families, youth development and/or hunger reduction. Organizations are able to reapply year after year.Applications do not carry over to the following calendar year.

Ineligibility

Travel expenses
Projects of sectarian or religious organizations whose principal benefit is for their own members or adherents.
Organizations that discriminate on the basis of sex, race, religion, sexual orientation or national origin.
Third-party giving (when an organization requests funds from Franz Bakery and then donates those funds to another organization.)
