Increase access to nutritious foods for populations experiencing food/nutrition insecurity

Target populations experiencing high social risk

Grant Program Goals:

Improving clinical outcomes for individuals with diet-related conditions experiencing high social risk

Increasing access to nutritious foods for populations experiencing high social risk and food/nutrition insecurity

Eligibility:

Qualified nonprofit organizations across the U.S.

Must be exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3)

Must be a public charity described in section 509(a)(1) or (a)(3)

Must not be a section 509(a)(3) type III nonfunctionally integrated organization

Grant Terms:

Generally 1-3 years in duration

Grant ranges are open; funding levels determined based on need and plan presented

Organizations cannot receive overlapping grants from the foundation

Status: Grant applications will be accepted again in 2027
