Overview

Flourish Grant

Status: Currently PAUSED for new applicants

    Purpose

    This grant is designed to support existing well-being programs that have:
  • A dedicated wellness coordinator and diverse wellness team to help guide the work
  • Collected inclusive staff feedback on well-being needs and interests and used the data to inform program planning
  • Support from leadership

    Eligible Activities

    Flourish Grant funds are offered over multiple years to support building successful, sustainable programs:
  • "Mini-grants" to individual sites or departments to meet unique, staff-identified well-being needs
  • Stipends for well-being coordinators and committees to plan and execute programming
  • Multi-year training programs for staff on mindfulness, conflict resolution, or other well-being topics
  • Materials to create calm rooms or mindfulness spaces for staff
  • Supplies for staff gatherings, whether for all-staff events or smaller affinity/activity groups

    Eligibility Requirements

  • K-12 school districts, Education Service Districts (ESDs), or community colleges in Oregon
  • Applying on behalf of entire organization, not just a building or department
  • Not registered as a charter school (unless converted from entire public school district)
  • Not currently receiving other grant or benefit funding from Oregon Well-Being Trust
  • Public education employers only (not individuals or unions)
  • Must have established well-being program with the criteria listed above
  • Reapplication: Must wait 3 years after a Flourish Grant ends before reapplying

Technical Assistance

Grantees are assigned a coordinator from the Oregon Well-Being Trust Grants Team to provide year-round support, tailored resources, and assistance with reporting and grant compliance.

Background

The Oregon Well-Being Trust (OEA CHOICE TRUST) supports employer-sponsored wellness programs for public education employees across Oregon. The tiered funding structure was implemented to offer equitable funding across the wide range of education organizations.

3. Determine Your Funding Tier - Use the table provided to identify your organization's tier based on total number of staff. Contact Oregon Well-Being Trust if you have questions about the tiered funding structure.

5. Submit Interest Form - Fill out the interest form on the Flourish Grant web page

6. Access Temelio Platform - After submitting the interest form, you will be redirected to the online application platform (Temelio)

7. Complete Full Application - Submit your comprehensive grant application through Temelio
