  • Principal Investigator: Dr. Isabella Glitza, Professor and melanoma oncologist, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center

  • Co-Lead: Dr. Golnaz Morad, cancer biologist and expert in microbiome research

  • Focus: Studying the patient microbiome (gut and mouth bacteria) and its relationship to brain metastases characteristics and immunotherapy response

  • Study Population: Patients with metastatic melanoma and leptomeningeal disease receiving immune checkpoint inhibitors
