Financial Assistance Program
The Museum of Flight's Financial Assistance Program supports schools and non-profit youth organizations in accessing the Museum's educational programs.
Overview
Through the generous support of partners and donors, the Museum provides financial assistance to qualified organizations on a first-come, first-served basis.- Program Fees
- Bus/Transportation Reimbursements (includes school, charter and bus rental)
What Can Be Funded
- Must be a school or non-profit youth organization
- Minimum of 35% of students must qualify as low-income as defined by the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)
- Must apply at least two weeks before the date of your program
- Must complete pre- and post-program activities
Eligibility Requirements
- Award levels are variable and may cover partial or full program and/or bus costs
- Financial assistance is awarded after all other discounts are applied
- Restrictions and limitations may apply
- Standard transportation reimbursements are sent directly to transportation provider (upon receipt of invoice copy)
- Bus reimbursements do not apply to personal vehicles

Cancellation Policy

Application Process
1. Review Programs: Visit the Explore Programs section of the website to review programs and availability at https://www.museumofflight.org/Education/Explore-programs/
2. Gather Required Information: To complete the Financial Assistance Application, you will need:
- Percentage of students in your school/organization who qualify as low-income (as defined by OSPI)
- Name of the program you are requesting to book
- Preferred program dates and times
3. Submit Application: Click the "Financial Assistance Application" button on the grant assistance page
4. Timeline: Submit application at least two weeks before your scheduled program date
5. Post-Program: Complete all provided pre- and post-program activities
