FEF Tuition Reimbursement Grants

The Fauquier Education Foundation reimburses up to $500 per semester for Fauquier County Public Schools (FCPS) full-time or part-time permanent classified employees, teachers who are not fully certified, and certified FCPS employees seeking additional relevant certifications, for courses from accredited colleges or universities leading to professional teacher licensure or to certifications that enhance their current position. Eligibility: commitment to continue as an educator in Fauquier County for at least three years; participation in an accredited program leading to a teaching credential or additional certification; transcript or other evidence of course completion at an A or B level (or 'pass'); acknowledgment that the employee will not receive tuition reimbursement from another agency for the same course. Applications for tuition assistance are accepted on a rolling basis, so there is no deadline.

Apply on a rolling basis via the 'Apply here!' link on the Foundation's Grants page. Applicants must submit the application plus a receipt of payment (bank or credit card statement), proof of payment to the college/university (typically from the student account), and a transcript showing a passing score (unofficial transcripts accepted).
