FAWC Summer Workshops

Organization: Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA

Program Type: Open enrollment week-long intensive workshops

Geographic Scope: Open to artists and writers nationally and internationally

Number of Workshops: 60-70 week-long workshops annually

    Tuition Tiers (2026):
    1. $900 - 'Pay it Forward' Tuition Level: For those financially able to support scholarship program
    2. $800 - Standard Tuition Level: True cost of workshop; supports instructor compensation and operations
    3. $700 - Moderately-Subsidized Tuition Level: For those needing financial assistance
    4. $500 - Subsidized Tuition Level: Targeted to students and educators
    5. $400 - Card to Culture Tuition Level: For EBT, WIC, or ConnectorCare cardholders (Mass Cultural Council Card to Culture program)

    Additional Support: Scholarships available for full tuition coverage; housing and travel stipends available through partner scholarships

    Registration Process

    Important Note: Do not register for a workshop before applying for a scholarship. Space is reserved for scholarship recipients.

    Steps:

    2. Register for desired workshop(s)
    3. Select tuition tier at registration
    4. If scholarship applicant, apply separately (see scholarship section)

    Payment:

  • Complete registration with chosen tuition level

  • Payment due upon registration confirmation
  • Tiered Tuition Selection:

  • Choose the tuition level that matches your financial situation

  • Same experience regardless of tier selected

  • All students receive identical instruction and materials
