Mission The Fasken Foundation is focused on empowering our nonprofit partners to transform the lives of underprivileged youth in the Permian Basin and Northern New Mexico. We seek to enhance the future well being of children through strategic grantmaking and awarding educational and vocational scholarships. As a private 501C3 corporate foundation, The Fasken Foundation primarily reviews and grants those requests for youth, health and human services, and education. Grant requests are reviewed each quarter. Each entity requesting a grant may make only one application annually. Approximately 80% of the grant funds are distributed in the area around Midland, Texas, with the remaining 20% distributed in those other communities where members and directors live. Requests from organizations in those communities are considered only upon recommendation of board member(s) residing in those communities.
