Note: Applicants must have a Tax ID# and be registered in the federal Systems for Award Management (SAM) with an active UEI# to be registered in DC Health’s Enterprise Grants Management System. About DC Health DC Health promotes health, wellness and equity, across the District, and protects the safety of residents, visitors and those doing business in our nation’s Capital. Our responsibilities include identifying health risks; educating the public; preventing and controlling diseases, injuries and exposure to environmental hazards; promoting effective community collaborations; and optimizing equitable access to community resources. Farmers’ and Retail Market Support Grant Program Funding provided through this RFA aims to attract qualified applicants to support capacity building and expand access to, and awareness of, farmers’ markets, farm stands, and mobile markets, collectively referred to as farm retail outlets (FROs), in areas of the District with limited food access, with a particular emphasis on fruit and vegetable producers.
