Farah Jamal Award

Purpose: Award for early career researchers that recognises scholarly research ensuring historically marginalised and under-represented voices are heard in evidence synthesis.

Named in honour of: Farah Jamal, an exceptional early career researcher who conducted innovative work on health inequalities and blended theories and methods from various disciplines to address complex research questions.

Eligibility Criteria

• Career stage: Within seven years of a PhD (or equivalent), not including career breaks
• Contribution: Must have made an important contribution to ensuring under-represented or marginalised voices are heard in evidence synthesis
• Scope: Work within any area of the Campbell Collaboration's ambit
• Award basis: May be given for a series of research studies or a single research contribution (e.g., PhD thesis)
