FANS Funds FANS fund supports emergency assistance for individuals and families in Washington County, MD, as well as nonprofit organizations who are addressing emerging urgent needs within the community. The severity and urgency of the requested need and the impact that it will have on the recipient will be the determining consideration in providing support. We disburse FANS funds to a responsible nonprofit organization to help them close the gap and, hopefully, resolve the situation. Funding The maximum award amount is $1,000.
