FACF: Ice Mountain Environmental Stewardship Fund Grant

The FACF: Ice Mountain Environmental Stewardship Fund, established in 2002 by Great Spring Waters of America, Inc., aims to sustain the Muskegon River Watershed through conservation and restoration projects. Grants of up to $50,000 are available for initiatives that enhance water quality, reverse degradation, and foster collaboration among organizations. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits, government units, and educational institutions focused on benefiting the watershed and its communities.

The Ice Mountain Environmental Stewardship Fund was established in 2002 through the generosity of Great Spring Waters of America, Inc., now BlueTriton Brands. The fund provides up to $50,000 annually.
Grants are made to sustain the waters and water-dependent natural resources of the Muskegon River Watershed by supporting conservation, enhancement, and restoration projects.
Grant requests are accepted for projects or programs that:
Conserve, enhance, and/or restore the watershedImprove the quality and value of the watershed including education for responsible utilization of natural resources of the watershedReverse degradationDemonstrate collaboration among organizationsLeverage funding sources

Eligibility

Proposals will be accepted for projects located in any county within the Muskegon River Watershed.Who Can Apply501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organizationsUnits of governmentEducational institutions (preschool through college)Organizations that are located in Newaygo County or directly serve the people of Newaygo County

Ineligibility

Note: Projects or programs that are primarily recreational in nature or designed to increase or improve river access will not be considered.
