Geographic Scope: Old South End, Toledo, Ohio
Program Overview: The Historic South Initiative's Exterior Home Repair Program has helped make over 400 homes in the Old South End safer, healthier, and stronger for families. The program was paused in fall 2025 due to state budget cuts and loss of long-standing funding. HSI has now secured new grants from three corporate/private foundations to relaunch the program in 2026.
