How to Apply
1. Prepare a comprehensive exhibition proposal
2. Submit proposal to submissions@gjartcenter.org or mail to the address below
3. Exhibition committee reviews and responds to complete proposals in a timely manner
4. Note: Submission materials will not be returned
Required Submission Materials:
- Description of the exhibition including: - Exhibition objective - Why it should be shown at The Art Center
- Possible time frames for the exhibition
- Artist's or curator's statement(s)
- Support materials such as reviews, résumés, exhibition history
- List of participating artists (if applicable)
- Links to relevant websites (if available)
- Selection of high-quality digital images of artwork to be shown - Can be emailed or sent on CD or USB
- Corresponding list of submitted images including: - Titles - Media - Dimensions - Prices - Dates
- List of costs TAC can expect beyond reasonable gallery maintenance and opening expenses
- Description of educational programming that could be connected to the exhibit such as: - Artists' or curators' talks - Workshops - Films - Classes - Field trips
