Background:
Created in 2020 as a new initiative, this grant recognizes that both finalists in the annual selection process present highly deserving projects. Given the difficulty and excellence required to become one of the last two candidates selected from approximately 30 contenders, the foundation established this Special Recognition Grant to support the finalist who does not receive the main $1 million award.
