• Applicant Type: Nonprofit organizations only
• Tax Status: Must be recognized as tax-exempt under Internal Revenue Code sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a)
• Location Requirement: Applicant organization must serve within the city limits of Evansville, Indiana
• Project Location: All proposed projects must take place within Evansville

Funding Focus Areas

Capital project proposals may include:

• Social and Community-Based Organizations: Acquisition, construction, and renovation of permanent facilities used in provision of services and activities
• Arts and Cultural Activities: Construction or renovation of facilities that promote arts, culture, and/or tourism
• Recreation Activities: Construction and renovation of parks, playgrounds, and other public recreational facilities designed for public participation
• Neighborhood Revitalization: Acquisition of blighted property appropriate for rehabilitation or development of housing for low to moderate-income persons
• Economic Development Projects: Any project that augments, supplements, or replenishes existing municipally operated loan programs in pursuit of new economic development opportunities
