Essex Community Fund Grant

The Essex Community Fund Grant, managed by the Adirondack Foundation, supports local nonprofit organizations, schools, and government initiatives in Essex. It prioritizes grants that enhance community services, historic preservation, culture, and education. With a strong emphasis on capacity building and modest capital projects, this fund aims to foster growth and improve the quality of life for residents. Community committees play a vital role in fundraising and grant recommendations, ensuring resources align with local needs.

Community Funds provide an ongoing, dependable philanthropic resource for the specific geographic areas they serve. Each Community Fund has a committee of active, well connected individuals that works to raise charitable dollars to grow the funds. The committees review and recommend grants through a competitive process. These community fund committee members expand our network of ambassadors and introduce Adirondack Foundation to the greater Adirondack community.
ECF awards grants in support of community services, beautification, historic preservation, culture, the arts, education, and programs for youth and senior citizens.

Eligibility

The Essex Community Fund at Adirondack Foundation offers grants to nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations, schools, church programs, and local government activities serving residents of the town of Essex.
