Overview: The Vision Council Foundation's Emerging Optical Leaders program strives to identify the next generation of optical industry leaders through networking, mentorship, and leadership development opportunities.

- Builds community among EOL members

- Creates and executes leadership development opportunities and events
- Past initiatives include: - Private workshops with keynote speakers at Vision Council events - Panel-style fireside chats with prominent industry leaders - Leadership training sessions at Vision Council's Executive Summit - EOL mentorship program
Continuous Development
- Provides insight and feedback to The Vision Council on strategic direction and industry challenges
- Consults and supports various committees within The Vision Council

How to Join the EOL Program
1. Review the EOL Nomination Form to understand requirements and expectations
2. Submit nomination - Contact Aaron Liener for information on nomination process
3. Selection: Members are selected through nomination process
4. Onboarding: Selected members participate in program orientation
5. Engagement: Choose which core pillar(s) to contribute to based on interests and abilities
6. Participation: Attend in-person meetings (at Vision Council events), virtual meetings, and networking events throughout the year
