Emerging Healthcare Needs Grant

Purpose: Supports health and wellness programs addressing emerging or critical healthcare needs in Rhode Island.

Geographic Scope: Rhode Island

Eligible Applicants:

  • Rhode Island 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations

  • Health and wellness focused organizations

    • Focus Areas:

  • Immediate and critical health care needs

  • Health and wellness programs

    • What the Foundation Funds:

  • Program services and operational support

  • Equipment and infrastructure

    • What the Foundation Does NOT Fund:

  • Salary and benefits as budget relief (discouraged)

    • Selection Criteria:

  • Broad geographic representation

  • Total number of clients served

  • Collaboration with other nonprofits preferred

  • Responsiveness to time-sensitive health needs
