Overview
The Emerging Erie Fund, established by The Erie Community Foundation, aims to support local initiatives that enhance the Erie community. This grant encourages innovative project proposals focusing on workforce development and creating safe neighborhoods. With a commitment of $100,000 available, eligible applicants include Erie County 501(c)3 nonprofits with project budgets of $2.5 million or less. Projects must primarily serve Erie and demonstrate community impact within 18 months of funding.
The Emerging Erie Fund, a field of interest fund of The Erie Community Foundation, was created to champion local initiatives that will significantly benefit the Erie community both now and in the future. As part of our mission, we are issuing this ‘Request for Proposals’ to solicit innovative and ambitious project ideas.

Funding

Eligibility
Any Erie County 501(c)3 nonprofit with a project that is primarily serving the city of Erie and that has a total project budget of $2,500,000 or less.Project Scope: Must serve the city of Erie.
Ineligibility
For-profit organizations, sectarian religious activities, fundraising-only projects, and hospitality-focused initiatives are not eligible.
