Overview

Emergency Medical Training Grant – FY26 and FY27 – State Funds The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) makes this funding available to all Minnesota School Districts, Charter Schools, Tribally Controlled Schools, or Cooperative Units for the purpose of developing and strengthening emergency medical training coursework to build and maintain partnerships for the benefits of students, families, and communities in need of a trained health care workforce. To the extent practicable, MDE must award at least half of the grant funds to applicants outside of the seven-county metropolitan area, and at least 30 percent of the grant funds to applicants with high concentrations of students of color. Total amount available: $450,000 is available in each fiscal year (FY26 and FY27)
