Allocations based on percentage of each applying organization's total request

Decisions determined by local EFSP Board of experts and volunteer representatives

Recent awards (Phase 40 & 41) totaled over $40,000

- Phase 40: Alternatives to Violence on the Palouse ($4,000), Council on Aging & Human Services Colfax ($15,376)
- Phase 41: Alternatives to Violence on the Palouse ($2,000), Council on Aging & Human Services Colfax ($10,855), Pullman Community Council on Aging ($7,398)

Program Details:

Federal funds reimburse local non-profits for costs incurred providing food and shelter

Funds distributed in phases with separate applications for each phase
