Program Description: Funding available to help expand the capacity of food and shelter programs in high-need areas throughout Ventura County

Geographic Scope: High-need areas throughout Ventura County

Background: The Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program was created in 1983 to supplement the work of local social service organizations, both private and governmental, to help people in need of emergency assistance.

  • Eligibility: Local social service organizations (both private and governmental) providing emergency assistance

    Administration: United Way of Ventura County convenes the Local Board responsible for determining funding allocations to eligible agencies
